Princess and the Frog cake

Oh, in my free time, i also decorate cakes. I really like this one that i did for my little sister's bday party. The top of Princess Tiana is made out of gumpaste and fondant, and her skirt is the actual cake, which is also covered in fondant. Her body on top did end up a little wrinkly, parctially because I had not really worked with gumpaste before and didn't realize how fast it dried. But for the most part, i really like it. and my little sister loved it, which was the most important thing in the first place.
